What is the biggest problem in the accountability process?

Aam Aadmi Ittehad Party leader Justice (retd) Wajihuddin has said that the biggest problem in the accountability process is white collar crime, a system of parallel accountability should be established in the country, accountability should be for politicians, bureaucrats The people of Pakistan have learned a lot. The actions being taken against the opposition parties cannot be called wrong in any way but accountability should be across the board.

Justice (retd) Wajihuddin said that unfortunately the government and its allies in the country, whether at the center or in the provinces, most of them have been involved in corruption in one way or another and have not been held accountable. Going, they should also be held accountable. He said that the reason for the delay in the accountability process is the lack of accountability courts. In this regard, the Supreme Court has given clear orders for the establishment of 120 courts, but unfortunately, despite this order, there is still one more accountability court. One hundred and twenty courts should be set up immediately following the orders of the Supreme Court, but many anti-terrorism courts of the same status have been winded up.

"Undoubtedly, there has been a marked reduction in terrorist activities in the country. Billions of dollars earned by Pakistanis from corruption have been accumulated abroad. Every government that comes to the country claims that it will return the money," he said. But so far no government has been able to bring back a single drop from abroad. He said that accountability process should be continued in the country and its scope should be extended to government officials involved in corruption, but it is not enough. Accountability process should include politicians, bureaucrats, civilian bureaucrats, if assets do not match their income. They should be questioned if they eat. There are laws in the country about such people which have clear examples and on this basis a term point has been made about these people. Reputed to be corrupt.

He added that with the current accountability process, it has become necessary to establish a system of parallel accountability, involving politicians, bureaucrats, civil and military bureaucrats, and there is more to see and more to investigate. There is no need to inquire, just look at the assets of him and his family and what are their sources in comparison, and if they are inappropriate, then it can be assumed that they are corrupt and their Politicians, bureaucrats involved in corruption should be completely retired, they should be completely fired and interrogated against them, and their money earned from corruption should be confiscated. After that, they should be questioned and there is plenty of money to be confiscated by the government. He said that in order to make the accountability process purposeful, the judicial process must also be strengthened.

He said that the alliance of the so-called opposition is the only motivator of the Pakistan Democratic Movement and that is that most of them are suffering from accountability and their affairs are going on for a long time. Some of these cases are on appeal and these people have been granted bail. Some have even gone out. If the by-laws which I have pointed out are followed, then all these people, including the government people, will be involved. They will be disqualified immediately. With this method, it is possible to put an end to anti-national activities in the country in which the army and the judiciary are being pushed and even every institution of Pakistan is being pushed. The meaning is that there will be no bamboo and no flute.
