Strict action against Corona virus SOPs in Pakistan has been hinted at again. According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), if the people across the country continue to violate the Corona SOPs, they will have to lock down again in various sectors, leading to the spread of Corona. Special attention should be paid to the upcoming transport, markets, wedding halls, restaurants and public gatherings and strict action should be taken against the violators of SOPs, otherwise strict measures will have to be taken if the spread of the virus continues like this.
In this regard, it was informed that a meeting of the NCOC was held in which concern was expressed over the increasing number of Corona cases and deaths across the country. The Chief Secretaries of all the provinces strictly implemented the Corona SOPs. Instructed and asked to ensure the use of masks and social distance.
In this regard, it is worth mentioning that in view of the second wave of Kona in the country, new guidelines were also issued by the NCOC for sports and public gatherings. According to the details in this regard, the new guideline of the NCOC The guidelines say that the elderly and children should refrain from attending public gatherings and events and the duration of any function should not exceed 3 hours. The health guidelines issued in consultation with all the provinces have directed that with regard to sports. And in other public gatherings, all people should be seated on chairs and no one should be standing while a distance of 3 feet should be ensured between the chairs. The number of participants in these directed events was increased to 500 while refreshments and meals were not provided.
