Treason case registered against Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz in Lahore

 
A case has been registered in Shahdara police station against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and other party leaders for inciting mutiny. The case was registered on October 1 on the complaint of a citizen named Badar Rashid.

According to local media, the text of the FIR filed under the criminal conspiracy provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code said that Nawaz Sharif spoke against the ruling circles, incited the people to revolt. The text further said that Nawaz Sharif is a convicted criminal under NAB rules, incited rebellion against institutions through provocative speeches while national laws do not allow such speeches and actions of convicted criminals. It may be recalled that after addressing the All Parties Conference of the Opposition, Nawaz Sharif has been accused of anti-nationalism by the government circles. Nawaz Sharif said that he has no competition with Imran Khan. Why did the commandant steal? I can't keep quiet about the situation in Pakistan. No one should try to silence me. It is also worth mentioning here that the opposition parties should change the status of occupied Kashmir and then send back the captured Indian pilot. But similar allegations have been made against the ruling party and especially Prime Minister Imran Khan.
