Jeddah police have arrested a group of 10 people who stole traffic cameras. According to the Saudi Press Agency, Makkah Mukarramah Region Police spokesman Brigadier Muhammad Al-Ghamdi said that 8 Yemeni migrants and two Saudi nationals were arrested in the group. The victims are between 30 and 50 years old and have been involved in a number of traffic camera thefts.
He said that the gang members used to break the traffic cameras and take away the devices installed there. They used to take out the electronic devices in various places in the city where it was not possible to remove the cameras. The police were looking for them. Their identities have been ascertained, several traffic cameras and related electronic items have been confiscated from their whereabouts.
