In the movies, you may have seen the stories of a runaway bride who marries rich people and then takes jewelery and cash from home. Now a true story has emerged from India where a woman married 8 elderly men and deprived them of savings. According to India Times, the woman's name is Monica who has married 8 men in the last 10 years. The last victim was Jagal Kishore, a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, India, whose wife had died last year and whose only son had moved into a separate house with his wife and children.
Fed up with loneliness, Jagal Kishore decided to get married. The Marriage Bureau got him married to Monica. For two months, the bride, Jagal, stayed at home with the teenager, and two months later, she suddenly disappeared. When Jagal saw the condition of the house, he found that all the jewelery and cash, valued at Rs 1.5 million, were missing.
Jagal Kishor, realizing the matter, contacted Khanna Viah Kendra but his owner started threatening Jagal that he had killed the girl and now a case would be registered against him. The owner of the marriage bureau immediately demanded money from Jagal, but instead of threatening, Jagal contacted the police. When the police investigated, they found out that the marriage bureau had married the same girl eight times and each time the bride ran away with the groom's savings within one to two months. Police have registered a case against the girl, her family and the owner of the marriage bureau.
