The ugly face of the Indian government is exposed, the family of the slain girl is imprisoned in the house

The gang-rape and murder of a 19-year-old girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, has sparked outrage across the country.

The family of the gang-raped girl is currently living in fear. The victim's family has been placed under house arrest by the police. The family members are accusing her of snatching her mobile phone and torturing her.

According to Indian media reports, the police cordoned off the victim's house and no one is being allowed in or out.

Following the order of the Yogi government, the police have closed all the roads leading to the village of the slain girl. Not allowed.

When the media asked, "By whose order are you stopping us?" The only answer the police had was an order from above, they could not let him go to the village.

One of the victim's brothers managed to dodge the police through the fields with great difficulty. Somehow he went outside the village and told the media the story of police brutality. The victim's brother said that his sister-in-law wanted to meet the media and yesterday the DM had kicked his uncle in the chest.

According to Indian media, some opposition MPs were stopped by the UP police a kilometer and a half before the victim's village, all of whom had left Delhi for Hathras to meet the victim's family.

Opposition parties have blamed the UPA government for the incident, and New Delhi has been the scene of protests and demonstrations against the Hathras incident following the riots on the Yamuna Expressway yesterday.

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, a demonstration has been called at India Gate in Delhi against this incident. In view of these protests, Delhi Police has banned any large gathering around India Gate and Section 144 has been in force since September 3.

It should be noted that crimes against women are on the rise in India. According to official figures, there was an increase of more than 7% in 2019 compared to 2018. During this period, the crime rate per lakh increased from 58.8% to 62.4%.
