The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has banned the removal of inappropriate content from the short video-sharing application Tik Tak. However, the real reason behind the government's ban on Tik Tak has also come to light.
According to details, on the micro-blogging website, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr Shahbaz Gul, explaining the reason for the ban on Tik Tak, said that the Prime Minister's Portal had received complaints from countless parents that young children were being subjected to inappropriate activities on Tik Tak. Contrary to culture and lifestyle, the company has been asked to introduce a grievance redressal system, which will remain in place until its preparation and implementation.
Earlier, Dr Shahbaz Gul in a tweet sarcastically criticized Maryam Nawaz Sharif and PML-N, saying, "Look, we also kept Maryam Safdar in silent mode for a year for GNRO. They also voted for General Bajwa for extension, Muhammad Zubair also begged, Khawaja Asif also prayed, there is a limit, no one is giving us any grass, still no government or any other institution, just now we Revolution is to be brought.
In his third tweet, Dr Shahbaz Gul shared a video of the PML-N meeting, saying, People and most of the seats are empty! The anti-Pakistan statement of the fugitive Sharif has also been rejected by the people.
