The Swiss government has announced a gift of 7,500 francs (8,300) to all its citizens.
The prize money from the Swiss government will be given equally to everyone, including adults and children, and will be tax-free, meaning no tax will be deducted from it.
According to Swiss media, if one lakh citizens support this proposal by April 22, 2022, this amount will be paid by the government to all citizens.
The proposers said the money should be paid in cash or spent on helicopter services.
Switzerland has a population of 8.6 million and the Swiss franc is the most widely used currency, but the Swiss government has also decided to print $71 billion so that the money can be distributed among citizens in dollars.
In 2016, the Swiss government voted in favor of a proposal to pay $2,500 (2,750) in social security to Swiss citizens and foreigners residing in the country for five years.
