The first sports gala of its kind organized for eunuchs in Peshawar

 

The first ever sports gala of its kind was organized for eunuchs in the provincial capital in which they had a lot of fun participating in various sports competitions.

According to details, a colorful sports gala for eunuchs was organized by Directorate of Youth Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Sports Complex, Peshawar in which more than 50 transgender people participated in seven different sports. Eunuchs enjoyed participating in a variety of sports, including javelin throwing, 100m races, tug-of-war, cricket and cycling.

According to the organizers, the scope of these competitions will be extended to other districts as well. Talking to media on the occasion, Director Youth Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appreciated the sports gala and said that its purpose is to encourage these people in sports. At the end of the sports gala, participants in various sports and winners celebrated the victory to the beat of drums.
