The accused who demanded extortion of Rs 4 crore from the doctor is arrested.

 

In Ichhra, police nabbed an accused who demanded extortion of Rs 4 crore from a doctor.

According to the police spokesperson, the accused named Hamza threatened Dr Sohaib on the phone in Ichhra and demanded an extortion of Rs 4 crore. The accused and the doctor also kept messaging on their mobile phones while a case was registered against the accused in Ichhra police station. Police say the accused has been traced and arrested through a police call record. Lahore Police Chief Omar Sheikh says there is no room for extortionists in the city.
