The bizarre design of a building at the Abu Arish Commissionerate in the Jazan region of southern Saudi Arabia has been the subject of discussion on social media.
There are a lot of questions on social media regarding the unique building under construction in Al-Rubayeh neighborhood of Abu Arish.
Everyone is asking why such a design building was finally approved.
According to Al Arabiya Net, the local council of Abu Arish has stopped the construction work of the controversial building of Albar Welfare Association.
The local council claims that the building was being constructed in a different way from the approved design. Construction was halted until the issue of violations was resolved.
Chairman of the association Mahmood Al-Aqsam said that the mistake mentioned in the design by the local body council was minor. Part of the west side has risen too much and will be fixed.
Al-Aqsam also said that the plot was actually very small but it is very important due to its proximity to the association's headquarters. The building will be used as a training center. Construction of the building began only after the required approvals from the local council.
The local council said that part of the building did not conform to the approved design and satisfaction would be gained over the foundation of the building.
Al-Aqsam said the association has more immovable property than any other association in Jazan. There are flats on Jazan Dam Road. It is the largest complex of flats in the entire commissionerate. The underwriting office is also ours. The objections raised by the Local Government Council will be removed soon.
