It has been decided to give a reward of Rs 5 million for providing information on the killers of Maulana Muhammad Adil Khan.
According to a private channel, a four-member committee formed to probe into the assassination attempt on Maulana Dr Adil decided to give a reward of Rs 5 million for information leading to the killers. Maulana Mohammad Adil Khan and the driver involved in the attack failed to trace the terrorists, after which the police decided to seek help to arrest the terrorists. CTD officials said the meeting about the killers. Deciding to give a reward of Rs 5 million for information, the committee's recommendations were sent to the Sindh government. The names of those who helped in the arrest of the accused will be kept secret while reports were also submitted regarding the investigation into the assassination attempt.
It may be recalled that on October 10, a firing incident took place in Shah Faisal Colony area of Karachi in which Maulana Adil Khan, the superintendent of Farooqia University, was martyred.
