The wave of children is over, this time there will be no winter holidays in schools across Punjab.

Addressing a press conference at the Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development, Education Minister Murad Ras said that education has already been severely damaged due to the corona virus epidemic this year so there would be no winter holidays in the schools of the province. Educational institutions were reopened in phases from September 15 after a six-month shutdown and it was decided that there would be no holidays this year due to smog. He also announced to do this from where students will be able to take lectures and take tests at home.

He said that there are several private academies operating in the province but they are charging heavy fees and they have received many reports that teachers have instructed parents to enroll their children in these private academies to complete the syllabus. The education minister said parents had contacted him and complained that they could not pay school and academy fees.

He said that after detailed discussions with the teachers, the government has decided to introduce Insaf Academies where the best teachers will give lectures in 5 subjects to the students of class IX to XII. Those who do it on time will also take online tests while parents will also be able to see their children's performance.
