Sindh Governor Imran Ismail says Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to build two new cities on the Karachi islands.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail said that Bundle Island would remain a part of Sindh, 1.5 lakh jobs would be created, while the revenue from Bundle Island would go to the Sindh government.
The Governor Sindh said that the city would be rehabilitated under the comprehensive master plan keeping in view the pollution problems and the water of Bundle Island would be purified.
Imran Ismail said that they will not bring Bundle Island to Islamabad, 4 to 5 million tourists will come, all revenue will go to Sindh government.
The Sindh Governor said that the project would generate an investment of Rs 50 billion. The meeting at the Prime Minister's House was related to Bundle Island and Ravi City.
Imran Ismail said that the Prime Minister wants Bundle Island to emerge better than Ravi City, he wants to build two new cities, while Bundle Island is not a housing project.
