Former Sindh Governor and Nawaz Sharif's spokesman Muhammad Zubair said that the Sindh Chief Minister said that the IG was abducted at 4 pm and taken to the Sector Commander's office and pressured for arrest. The Prime Minister has been held hostage and has no authority. Maryam Nawaz is expected to be arrested by the NAB.
Talking on a private TV program, PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair said that Maryam Nawaz had texted me at 7 am that Captain Safdar had been arrested. When I called Saeed Ghani, he told me that Aziz Bhatti was in the police station. When he reached there, he was not allowed to enter. He said that he was told by the Sindh Chief Minister that he had kidnapped IG Sindh at 4 pm. The commander was taken to the office where he was pressured to arrest Captain Safdar. Rangers went to the hotel with the police and knocked on the door of the room. Captain Safdar came out. He said, "We have come to arrest you." Captain Safdar said, "Don't come in, because my wife is also with me. I changed my clothes." He said that no response was given to the incident by Prime Minister Imran Khan either he was not sensitive to the incident or he was completely helpless. The Prime Minister has now gone into hiding. He should ask who the police officers are complaining about, even if the NRs do not want it.
Former Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair said that the Prime Minister is powerless, he is a hostage, the constitution has been completely broken. He is terrified of our meetings. He further said that news of Maryam Nawaz's arrest through NAB was circulating, we can expect anything from Imran Khan.
