Please don't touch me

Turkey has installed a smart system to protect citizens and animals from electric shocks in electricity poles.

As soon as a technical malfunction due to a technical fault in a power pole, the sound will start coming from the pool that please do not touch me.

The system has been developed by a Turkish energy company. The system is currently being installed in major cities, but will soon be rolled out across Turkey.

Energisa Engineering has said that as soon as a technical glitch causes a current to flow out of the power pole, the system will start making noises in just a few seconds, which will help citizens to be careful.

Along with the sound, light will also start coming out of this electric pool. Passers-by will be able to call the Energy Company's 186 toll-free number to report a technical glitch.

Initially, the system has been installed on 3,000 electricity poles, but soon the system will be installed on 30,000 poles. The system is being implemented on a priority basis in schools, hospitals, recreational areas and large squares.
