According to the Cannes International Independent Film Festival website, the Pakistani film 'Bench' was screened on the last day of the festival on October 20.
The Twitter handle of the Pakistani embassy in France was also tweeted regarding the screening of director Usman Mukhtar's film at the festival and it was informed that the 'bench' was presented on October 20.
The story of 'Bench' revolves around a couple who discuss social issues on an empty bench in a public park.
The couple sitting on the 'bench' are shown talking about social issues in different ways while discussing the problems and obstacles in their lives.
The film stars Rabia Chaudhry and Usman Mukhtar in the lead roles. The film has been screened at other international film festivals.
The Cannes International Independent Film Festival screened films from more than 70 different countries, including 'Bench', and the festival opened on October 18.
All the films of the three-day film festival were screened at various venues.
