Cases have started being filed in Indian courts against other mosques after permission was granted to build a temple on the site of Babri Masjid in India. According to the details, petitions have been filed in the courts against many mosques in India that these mosques have been demolished and rebuilt in their place. According to the report of the international news agency, the local court of the city of Mathura in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has accepted the petition for removal of the royal Eidgah mosque adjacent to Krishna Janmabhoomi for hearing.
The petitioners claim that the mosque was built in the 17th century AD during the reign of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir by demolishing a part of the temple at the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
According to the report, a petition for removal of the mosque was also filed in a local court last month. The court had rejected the petition before the hearing.
In 1968, an agreement was reached between the Hindu and Muslim parties on the land, in which it was decided that the mosque would remain as it is. Despite this, Hindutva forces have been demanding the removal of the mosque for the past three decades, and the demand has intensified in the last one year. Vinay Katiyar, a senior BJP leader who played a key role in the martyrdom of Babri Masjid, had said after his acquittal in the Babri Masjid martyrdom case that his next targets were Kashi and Mathura.
It should be noted that on December 6, 1992, thousands of Hindus belonging to the Hindutva ideology martyred the Babri Masjid. After the martyrdom of the mosque, Hindutva organizations and their representatives have been chanting the slogan 'Ayodhya is just a peek, Kashi Mathura is left'. Senior BJP leader and MP Sakshi Maharaj has claimed that there are 3,000 mosques in the country which were founded by the Mughal kings after demolishing the temples.
According to him, this includes the Jama Masjid in Delhi. It may be recalled that these steps are being taken in India due to the verdict in favor of the temple in the Ram Janmabhoomi and Babri Masjid controversy, Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Ram Mandir and the recent acquittal of all the accused in the Babri Masjid martyrdom Is. It should be noted that this movement has not yet gained as much popularity as it did in the case of Ayodhya and it is not necessary for the Hindutva powers to have the same success in these matters as in Ayodhya.
