The Pakistan Air Force conducted a landing exercise on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway in which various fighter and training aircraft took part.
According to a private channel, fighter and training aircraft belonging to different squadrons of the Pakistan Air Force took part in the exercise. After landing on the motorway, the planes were also refueled before returning to their airbases. Talking to the pilots and ground crew, Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed said that the Pakistan Air Force is valuable for its professionalism and the nation. The Federal Minister on February 27 last year paid homage to the Pakistan Air Force for giving a full response to the enemy and meeting the expectations of the nation.
The main purpose of the exercise is to train Pakistan Air Force fighter pilots to continue military operations using the country's wide road network as a runway in war situations. Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed was the chief guest on the occasion. On his arrival, he was received by Air Vice Marshal Zafar Aslam, Air Officer Commanding, Central Air Command.
