President Recep Tayyab Erdogan has said that Europe will end its Islamophobia. An alliance against Muslims will overwhelm Europe.
Addressing members of the Justice and Development Party at a stadium in the central Turkish province of Kayseri, he said that if Europe did not come out of this disease of Islam and anti-Muslim hatred soon, the whole of Europe would be wiped out.
President Erdogan's statement came after a speech by French President Emmanuel Macron in which he asked why Muslims have a separate identity.
President Erdogan said what can be said about the head of a state where millions of people of different religions and faiths live. "Macron needs psychiatric treatment," he said. He said that European selfishness was taking a new turn in the form of attacks on the rights of Muslims. This week's police raid on a mosque in Germany is a recent example that is being strongly condemned.
