Iran is the only Islamic country to be blacklisted by the FATF, North Korea is also blacklisted, a decision was taken during a meeting in Paris to keep Pakistan on the gray list, while Iceland and Mongolia Added to whitelist. According to details, a meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) was held in Paris, the capital of France.

The meeting was chaired by FATF Chairman Marcus Player. The FATF meeting reviewed the performance of Iceland and Mongolia, while also considering Pakistan's exit from the gray list. During the meeting, it was decided to remove Iceland and Mongolia from the gray list.

During the meeting, it was also decided to keep the blacklisted countries Iran and North Korea in the same list.

Despite all the conspiracies of India during the meeting, Pakistan escaped from the blacklist. In this regard, the President of the FATF announced that Pakistan has shown clear progress on all action points. 21 out of 27 action points have been fully implemented, however, further progress is still required on 6 points, so it has been decided to keep Pakistan's name in the gray list.

The President of the Financial Action Task Force added that Pakistan would remain on the gray list until February 2021. Before the next meeting, we will check whether Pakistan is implementing the 6 points effectively. In Pakistan, there is progress and desire to implement 27 points. The government of Pakistan has assured that it will implement them. Pakistan is making progress in implementing the points. When Pakistan ensures implementation of all 27 points, then a team will visit Pakistan. The purpose of the visit to Pakistan will be to review the ground realities.
