In the case of Nawaz Sharif's arrest, the UK gave a clear answer to the government

The British government refused to execute the arrest warrant of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The fifth attempt by the Pakistan High Commission in London to execute the non-bailable arrest warrant of Nawaz Sharif also failed. According to private news channel Geo News, the High Commission tried five times to get the warrants signed in Avonfield, but neither Nawaz Sharif nor any other member of the Sharif family signed the warrants. The Foreign Office was asked to assist the British government in complying with the warrants, but the British government refused to comply with Nawaz Sharif's warrants. According to sources, the British government said it would not interfere in Pakistan's internal political ffairs. While compliance with warrants is neither their job nor their mandate.
