Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Army Chief kept telling me that the "opposition" had been coming to meet him but he did not think he should have met them.
In an exclusive interview with Pakistan's private TV channel ARY on Friday, in response to a question about the meetings of opposition leaders with General Bajwa, he said that what was the use of these meetings, the language used against the army. Even the enemy does not use such language.
"We have also made a big mistake even though General Bajwa used to tell me that they are getting it. Or so-and-so is coming. I have talked to them. I think today is a big mistake. They shouldn't have met at all. "
"These people were wanting in these meetings, they wanted to get NRO. "These people (opposition) are putting pressure on the army and the judiciary. Their pressure is aimed at getting NRO."
"They used to follow me and now they are following the army," he said.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that all these have come together so that I too can come under pressure like Pervez Musharraf and give him NRO.
"I will not be involved in any blackmail. If you dig my grave, I will not back down. I will not give NRO as long as I am alive."
Imran Khan said that the opposition made the last attempt to get NRO from me during the legislation on FATF.
"I thought maybe I would kneel before them for this law, but when that didn't happen and the legislation was passed, the father and daughter came out in silence."

Imran Khan said, "I had said 10 years ago that these people would come together to save corruption."
He said that he was talking to the British government for the return of Nawaz Sharif.
"It will be a long process under the extradition treaty from the UK. We are trying to get Nawaz Sharif deported from the UK."

Replying to a question, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "People of my party are also frightened by the meeting of the opposition. The meeting is a democratic protest. I told the ignorant people to let them hold a meeting."
PM Imran Khan said that Ishaq Dar and Shahbaz Sharif's son also ran out while Nawaz Sharif's son is also out. If anyone asks them, they say that we are British citizens.
"They live in the most expensive part of London and have fled because they have no property."
