A state of emergency has been declared in Spain amid growing concerns about the global corona virus.

Hum News quoted the international news agency as saying that in view of the second wave of Corona, the government has imposed night curfew in all cities except the Canary Islands.

In this regard, the international news agency says that the declaration of a state of emergency in the country was announced by the Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez himself. He addressed the nation on regular television in this regard.

According to the news agency, Pedro Sanchez said in his speech that the state of emergency in the country will remain until the beginning of May. "The situation we are in is very serious," he said.

According to the news agency, the decision to impose a state of emergency and curfew in Spain was made after a long discussion in the cabinet meeting which lasted for about two and a half hours.

Spain has officially announced that night curfews will be in effect until 11 a.m.

According to the news agency, the state of emergency in the country is initially for 15 days, but for the next six months, its implementation will require the approval of parliament.
