Chehlum of martyrs of Karbala, processions found in different cities

 

Central processions of Chehlum have started taking place in different cities of the country to pay homage to the martyrs of Karbala.

The main procession of 40 martyrs of Karbala in Karachi reached Nashr Park from Martin Road Imambargah at 9 am, where a central meeting has been held after which the main procession will leave Nishtar Park at 1 am.

The main procession will pass through Nishtar Park, Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Road, Father James Road and after reaching Mehfil Shah Khorasan, it will pass through various routes and end at Imambargah Hussainiya Irania.

Mobile phone service will remain closed on and around the Chehlum procession route in Karachi, while double riding on a motorcycle has also been banned in the city.

Two processions will be taken out on the occasion of Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala in Quetta. The main procession has been taken out on Alamdar Road at 10 am while another procession in connection with Chehlum will be taken out in Hazara Town.

According to police officials, more than 6,000 police and other personnel have been deployed for security in Quetta. Mobile phone service in Quetta will be closed from 9 am to 8 pm.

In addition, motorcycling is banned for one day within the limits of 3 police stations in Quetta.

The main procession in Sargodha will start from Block 14 and proceed through the designated routes and end at Imambargah Block 19.

On the occasion of Chehlum Martyrs of Karbala, a mourning ceremony will be held at 4 pm in DI Khan. Will be.

In Rawalpindi, 1500 personnel will be deployed for the security of the main procession of Chehlum while entry of all kinds of traffic towards College Road will be prohibited.
