World-renowned British boxer of Pakistani origin Aamir Khan has withdrawn his decision to participate in Pakistani politics, believing that the country has the leadership of a strong Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Aamir Khan, a British boxer of Pakistani descent, said in a recent social media post that he had discussed the matter with his advisory team and had come to the conclusion that he would reject the offer to step into practical politics.
Talked to my advisory team, I will decline the offer to join Pakistan politics. The country is run by an amazing PM @ImranKhanPTI and we all have trust in him. I prefer continuing my charity work @AKFoundation in UK, Pakistan and rest of the world to make areas better and safer
He appreciated all the strategies of the present Prime Minister Imran Khan to run the country.
Boxer Aamir Khan said that the country has the leadership of a strong Prime Minister and he has confidence in Imran Khan.
Referring to his future, Aamir Khan said that he would continue his welfare work like this.
The boxer said in his statement that he would continue his philanthropic work not only in Pakistan but also in the United Kingdom and would play an important role in making the world a better and safer place.
It may be recalled that boxer Aamir Khan had hinted in his long social media message regarding his entry into Pakistani politics.
Aamir Khan, citing the example of Philippine boxer Mini Pacquiao, said that he was also playing his part in politics.
He said that he sees Pakiau who has done a lot in Philippine politics and wants to serve Pakistan in the same way.
It may be recalled that 33-year-old world famous boxer Aamir Khan Aamir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom were married in 2013. The couple gave birth to a son, Xavier, on February 22 this year.
The third child was born in the house of Aamir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom. The couple also has two daughters before that.
