Books taken from the library to read are returned after 48 years

Two books taken 48 years ago were returned to the Hampshire Library.

The two rare books include a book from the Thomas the Tank Engine and Learning in Colors series, which has been mailed back to the library.

The note with the books was signed by a man named Andy, who has apologized to the administration for keeping the books for so long.

The Hampshire County Council has announced that it will not charge a late return fee on these books.
