Azerbaijani troops announce victory after liberating Armenian-occupied territories

It is reported that more fierce clashes took place between the forces of the two rival neighboring countries. The sides of Nagorno-Karabakh also suffered heavy casualties during the clashes. The Azeri army has liberated many areas of Nagorno-Karabakh. Meanwhile, after the liberation of the occupied territories, a video of Azeri soldiers has also surfaced, in which the military personnel are announcing victory by waving their country's flag and giving an adhan:

On the other hand, according to the details released by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, so far more than 2,000 inactive Armenian troops, 130 tanks, armored vehicles, more than 200 heavy weapons and missile systems have been destroyed.

The Armenian military has also fired missiles at Azerbaijani civilians, killing scores of civilians. It should be noted that Nagorno-Karabakh is an area of ​​Azerbaijan which was occupied by Armenia along with local tribes in the 90s. There have been several bloody wars between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the past three decades for control of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The resumption of hostilities is now being described as the most intense in many years. During this war, for the first time in decades, the Azerbaijani army has succeeded in liberating some of the occupied territories of Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan, meanwhile, has made it clear in its call for a ceasefire that the war will continue until Nagorno-Karabakh is liberated.
