Former DG ISPR Asim Saleem Bajwa has resigned from the additional post of Special Assistant for Information. In a tweet, Asim Saleem Bajwa said that he had requested the Prime Minister to withdraw the post of Special Assistant for Information which he accepted.

He had made allegations against him some time back after which he had given an explanation. It was reported that Prime Minister Imran Khan was satisfied with the performance of Special Assistant to Asim Saleem Bajwa. He asked Asim Saleem to continue his work. However, Asim Saleem Bajwa had requested to resign from the additional post which was now accepted. Chairman C-Pack Authority will continue to work.
