Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar clarified the government's policy regarding opposition meetings and said that all political parties including us should not hold meetings.
According to details, Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar while addressing the function said that the government is working to improve the lives of the people, the opposition should abide by the law.
Asad Umar said that we have a policy of abiding by the law, it should not be broken in the name of democracy, we have a democratic party, Usman Bazdar's fort is strong. He said that Imran Khan used to gather so many people that Pakistan's No one in history saw them, the rulers of that time could not stop them.
The Federal Minister said that they are working in collaboration with the provinces on the issue of Corona. It has been decided to convene a meeting of the NCC on the issue of Corona in the NCOC to work out a code of conduct. He said that the code of conduct for everything in Corona has already been formulated, SOPs should also be decided with regard to large gatherings, the matter will be considered in the National Coordinating Committee.
It may be recalled that the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) had issued new guidelines in view of the increasing number of cases of corona across the country. Consideration should be given to holding programs as much as possible, and large gatherings are being considered.
The NCOC said in a statement that "large public gatherings are banned worldwide because such events pose a significant risk to Corona. Urgent gatherings should be held with SOPs."
The NCOC said, "Public gatherings are likely to spread other diseases, including corona. Such gatherings could jeopardize national success against corona. Such events should not be held under any circumstances."
