Armenia agrees to ceasefire

Clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia have entered their sixth day in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Armenia has agreed to work with international mediators for a ceasefire in the region, which has so far claimed nearly 200 lives.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry says its country is ready to work with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for a ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Yesterday, the presidents of Russia, the United States and France called on the parties to hold talks in a joint appeal.

Earlier, Armenia and Azerbaijan refused to hold talks, while Armenia claimed to have shot down four drones in its airspace.
