Armenia agrees to ceasefire

 

Armenia has conditionally agreed to a ceasefire with Azerbaijan, saying it is ready for a ceasefire mediated by the United States, Russia and France.

According to the International News Agency, a statement issued by the Armenian Foreign Ministry said that the United Nations, the United States, Russia and France are ready to work together on the issue of ceasefire.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the issue could be resolved through the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and that it could agree to a ceasefire. Will continue to receive our strong response.

The Armenian ceasefire was signaled by Turkey's support for Azerbaijan in Nargorno-Karabakh, and another 54 Armenian soldiers were killed, bringing the death toll to 158. 19 civilians were killed.
