John McAfee, inventor of anti-virus in computer systems, has been arrested in Spain, US media have confirmed the arrest of John McAfee in Spain.
According to the US Department of Justice, John McAfee has been arrested in Spain on charges of tax evasion in the United States.

John McAfee is accused of failing to file tax returns from 2014 to 2018.
The U.S. Department of Justice added that John McAfee is also accused of hiding assets, depositing his income in accounts in the name of others.

US media say John McAfee could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
