An extremist mullah who was close to the terrorists was chosen to head the opposition.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has strongly criticized the handing over of the PDM to Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that today is a very sad day for Pakistan because today an extremist mullah has been selected to lead a movement against the opposition government which is close to terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

He said that unlike India where extremists are in government, the people of Pakistan have never allowed extremists to lead or engage in mainstream politics.

It may be recalled that a meeting of the opposition PDM was held on Saturday in which the leadership of the opposition alliance was handed over to Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
