All members of the South African Cricket Board (CSA), including acting president Barry Ford Williams, have resigned.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, six members of the South African board had resigned last Sunday, while the remaining four members have also resigned today. The highest decision-making committee of the South African Cricket Board has asked all members of the board to resign. He was asked to resign.
Earlier, it was reported that the South African government intends to interfere in the board's administration, which has increased the risk of the cricket board being banned from international cricket, said South African Sports Minister Nathi Mathews. He said in a statement that he had informed the International Cricket Council (ICC).
It should be noted that according to the ICC constitution, government interference in the affairs of the board is prohibited, while the country's team may face a ban from playing international matches as punishment.
