An incident of harassment of a girl by police personnel has taken place in a hotel in Lahore, CCTV video of the incident has come to light.
The victim alleged that two policemen forcibly entered the room at 2.30 pm, asked obscene questions and verbally harassed her. IG Punjab also took notice of the incident yesterday, but no action has been taken so far. ۔
An incident of harassment of a female student by police personnel came to light in a private hotel located within the limits of Sundar police station.
The student revealed the video statement and CCTV footage of the incident. According to the student, she was staying in a private hotel when suddenly the door of the room slammed shut at half past one in the night. When the door was opened, two policemen forced their way into the room. Began to ask questions.
The victim said that ten minutes after the policemen left, another police officer came into the room and verbally harassed her, while the third police officer who forcibly entered the room continued to present himself in charge.
According to the victim, the police officer in charge kept on abusing and harassing me. According to the girl, after submitting all the identification documents, she took a room in the hotel.
According to a police spokesman, IG Punjab Inam Ghani took notice of the incident and demanded an immediate report from CCPO Lahore.
IG Punjab has identified the culprits and ordered strict action.
