A taxi driver who raped a woman in front of her son has been arrested in Rawalpindi
A taxi driver was arrested in Rawalpindi for raping a woman in front of his son. On his way to Rawalpindi from Attock, the accused stopped a taxi in a deserted area and shot a female passenger in front of her son at gunpoint. According to details, Rawalpindi police said that the accused who raped a woman belonging to Naseerabad in front of her son has been arrested.

The accused was arrested within 12 hours of the incident being reported, police said. A case has been registered against the accused. In the light of solid evidence, the accused will be given the harshest punishment.
It is to be noted that the victim has stated that she was taking her son to Attock for spiritual treatment because he was ill.
She said she had taken a taxi to get stuck and back home in Naseerabad. The woman added that on her way back to Rawalpindi, the taxi driver stopped the vehicle at a deserted place and grabbed her at gunpoint and sexually abused her. The accused also threatened the woman if she told him about the incident. The accused also hit the woman's son and snatched her mobile phone. It has been reported about the incident that the accused attacked the woman and her son. He left the road in the area and fled from there. The woman had taken note of the registration number of the vehicle after which she informed the police. Police then traced and arrested the accused in the light of the evidence and information provided.
