A woman has been killed in a cyber attack in Germany.
According to international media reports, the cause of death of the woman from Germany has been attributed to the cyber attack because the hospital system had not been working since the attack.
The hospital administration refused to admit the woman as the system was not working, after which the family was taking her to another hospital where she died on the way.
The German prosecutor has taken note of the incident on Friday and has formed a committee to investigate.
It is reported that the woman, who was battling a contagious disease, was brought to the University Clinic on the night of September 11 after falling ill, where the administration apologized for her treatment due to cyber attacks and system failure.
The woman was being transported by ambulance to another hospital 30 km away when she breathed her last and when she reached the hospital, doctors confirmed her death.
"We have taken note of the hacking incident. Strict action will be taken against the person who is negligent and negligent at work," said Christophe Bebaker, head of the cybercrime unit.
He said that an unknown person hacked the operating system of the hospital which caused severe problems to the management and patients.
