In the UAE, which is pursuing a policy of women's empowerment, women in the private sector will receive equal pay as men.
According to Emirati media, from September 25, the salaries of women working in the private sector across the UAE will be equal to those of men.
In this regard, the law will come into force on Friday. According to the first clause of the law issued by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the salaries of men and women working in the same position in the private sector will be equal.
Under the law, if both have the same position and the same job, there will be no allocation in the salaries of men and women.
Keen on further advancing female empowerment, the UAE President has issued a law ensuring that women receive equal pay as men in the private sector. The law comes into effect from tomorrow across the UAE.
