This current singer of Pakistan is my favorite and worthy of respect, ”Sonu Nigam.

Indian singer Sonongam has described Pakistani singer Sajjad Ali as a respectable and favorite singer and shared some photos of happy moments spent with him.

Sonu Nigam shared a few photos with Sajjad Ali on Instagram yesterday and explained the background of these photos, saying that these photos were taken on March 19 when Adeel Farooq took us to inspect Atif Ali's studio. ۔ Coincidentally, the most respected singer-songwriter and my favorite Sajjad Ali Bhai was also there with his son.

Praising Sajjad Ali, Sonu Nigam said, "I liked Sajjad Ali's statement that he was waiting for us there so that we could meet for the first time." We talked there for an hour and a half. I am sharing some memorable photos of this evening with you.

Sonu Nigam termed Sajjad Ali's song "Katna Nain" as his and his family's favorite song and said that this song was also sung by his sister. But before that I had taken permission from Sajjad Bhai to cover this song and he not only gave permission but also did not take any compensation.

This picture is from 19th March when Adel Farooq took us to check and assess Atif Ali's studio for the first digital Live concert that we eventually did on 22nd Mar. Incidentally one of the most respected singers and musicians of all times, and my personal favourite @thesajjadali bhai was there too with his son and it was so sweet of him to wait till I arrive so we may meet for the first time in our lives. And then we chatted for an hour and a half. Sharing some memorable pictures of that beautiful evening. For people who don't know, his 'Katna nai' is one of my family's most favourite songs and so was covered by my exceptionally talented sister @teeshanigam .But before that, I wanted to go about it absolutely respectfully and thus I called Sajjad bhai to seek his permission for the same. It was very very gracious of him to not just give us the permission for the same but not even charge for it! That's called true graciousness. It should be noted that a few days ago Sonu Nigam had shared a video in which he cried after hearing the song of Pakistan's young singer Hadia Hashmi and said that after many days a voice has touched my heart.
