Typhoon Haishen has reached near the southern part of Japan. The storm has started raining with strong winds on the island of Amami and the sea waves are high.

The southern part of Japan is facing Typhoon Haishen, which is causing a series of hurricanes on the island of Emami.

Due to the storm, power supply to 10,000 houses in the affected area has been cut off.

Authorities have called for the early evacuation of more than 100,000 families in southern Okinawa, Kagoshima, Kamamoto and Nagasaki.
