Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Asim Saleem Bajwa decides to resign.

Retired Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information, has said that he has decided to resign from his post.

"I have decided to resign from the post of special assistant along with my family," he told a private TV program.

"We thought the C-Pack authority needed a lot of attention, so we decided to put all our energy into the C-PEC," 

Asim Saleem Bajwa said that there are more capable people in the Ministry of Information, so I will leave it to them and I will keep my focus there.

"I have just made a decision in this regard and I will submit my resignation in the morning and request that you grant me relief from this post," .

The Special Assistant said that C-Pac is a top priority of the Prime Minister and he says that this is our future and after spending 10 months in C-Pac Authority, I have to believe the same, so I hope the Prime Minister will give me C-Pac. We will allow more careful work.
