Riya Chakraborty transferred to jail for drugging Sushant Singh

Actress Riya Chakraborty has been transferred to jail for supplying drugs to the late Shashant Singh Rajput. According to Indian media reports, Riya Chakraborty was arrested yesterday.

According to media reports, Riya's brother Shouk Chakraborty, Sushant's former manager Samuel Miranda and other arrested persons have been taken for medical treatment. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will present the case in court after a medical test, reports said.

Riya Chakraborty filed a bail application with the Judicial Magistrate which was rejected, but now her lawyer will go to the Sessions Court for bail. It is to be noted that Riya Chakraborty of NCB was being questioned on drug related charges in Sushant's suicide case.

The bureau claimed that they had evidence against the actress. It may be recalled that Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his flat in Mumbai on June 13.

In the case of Sushant's suicide, police questioned relatives, friends and neighbors of the late actor and those who lived with him at the last minute. During the police investigation, a case of drug addiction by Shashant Singh also came to light. When questioned, Riya Chakraborty admitted that she used to supply drugs to Sushant Singh.
