Rising incidents of rape, Pakistani women started buying self defense equipment

After the incident of rape on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, it has become clear that no steps have been taken at the government level to curb crimes against women in Pakistan and this is not likely to happen in the near future. Whenever there is an incident of abuse, loud claims are made but then when the matter cools down, these claims are also put in the cold storage.

After the motorway abuse case came to light, Pakistani women came forward and started buying and selling electric shock teasers and pepper spray. Some women have bought these things for themselves, while others have decided to give these things to low-income women for free. Some people want women's self-defense equipment to be made available at very affordable rates.
