Rape of a woman on Lahore Motorway is not the first incident of dacoits but dacoits have set up roads around the site.
Geo News team visited the scene of the incident on Lahore Motorway from where the investigation teams found the child's shoe. Geo News also found a spring of the child from there which is not very old.
At the scene, the robbers have made a formal way to reach the motorway above the ditch and reach the motorway from the forest in a few seconds.
There are three paths leading from the scene of the incident, one leading to the forest, one to the ditch and the other to three villages.
Residents of the three villages are also upset and worried about the incident.
It may be recalled that on September 9, a woman was gang-raped on the motorway in Gujjarpura area of Lahore.
Two men smashed the windscreen of a car parked on the motorway, pulled out the woman and her children, took them all to nearby bushes, and then raped the woman in front of the children.
Punjab Police has claimed that the two accused who gang-raped a woman on Lahore Motorway have been traced.
The samples obtained from the victim matched the DNA of the accused. The DNA samples were already present in the data bank of the forensic laboratory. According to the available identification, the name of one accused is Muhammad Abid and the other is Waqar.
According to police sources, 27-year-old Abid hails from Bahawalnagar. He used to come and go to Lahore. Accused Abid is a notorious criminal and has a record of several incidents. The suspects are still at large and are being sought.
