In the motorway tragedy, the district public prosecutor replaced the prosecutor who did not co-operate in the case.

According to private TV GNN, a team of prosecution was formed by District Public Prosecutor Rai Mushtaq against the motorway tragedy. However, Prosecutor Mohsin Hassan Bhatti was transferred for non-cooperation.
