Misbah-ul-Haq lost to India in the 2011 World Cup semi-finals

Former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has said that he missed a good chance to defeat India in the semi-finals of the 2011 World Cup. Misbah-ul-Haq should have taken the average of runs required to win.

Shahid Afridi said that the current head coach of Pakistan team Misbah-ul-Haq batted slowly in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2011 due to which he lost a good chance to defeat India. Shahid Afridi said that he thinks we can win. Missed a good opportunity, Misbah took a long time to settle down in the match, although this is his style and he tries to take the match to the end but at that time the situation was such that it was scored quickly. So the result could have changed.

It may be recalled that the second semi-final of the 2011 Cricket World Cup was played between Pakistan and India in the Indian city of Mohali in which Pakistan lost by 29 runs. Batting first, hosts India scored 260 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in reply to which the Pakistani team was bowled out for 231 runs. For Pakistan, Misbah-ul-Haq scored 56 off 76 balls, Younis Khan 13 off 32 balls while the captain Shahid Afridi scored 19 off 17 balls.
