Israeli airstrikes kill 11 in Syria.

Israeli airstrikes in Syria have killed seven pro-Iranian militia and three Syrian army personnel, while a woman has also been killed.

According to the International News Agency, Israel carried out air strikes on militant hideouts in the southern part of Damascus, killing 11 people and wounding several others.

The British monitoring group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed that seven non-local members of the pro-Iranian militia and three Syrian army personnel were killed in the airstrikes, while a female passerby was also injured.

Syria's state news agency also confirmed that two civilians, including seven soldiers, had been killed in an Israeli airstrike in the area, but independent sources said the death toll was much higher.

It should be noted that government and coalition forces in Syria have relinquished control of most parts of the country to ISIS, but in some areas of Idlib, the forces are still facing resistance from militants.
