Is a silk dress worth thousands of dollars of the last queen of Iran?

 

The last queen of Iran has explained that the dress is probably the original version of the dress she gave as a gift to someone years ago.

Some time ago, Farah Pahlavi had told the BBC that the silk pair offered at the auction had not been brought with her when she left Iran.

However, she later told the BBC that a friend had reminded her that the auctioned dress was probably the original version of the silk dress she had left in Iran.
