In petroleum products, only diesel was reduced by Rs2.40
The Ministry of Finance has issued a statement regarding the new prices of petroleum products from October 1.
In a statement, the finance ministry has announced a reduction in the price of diesel by Rs 2.40 per liter from October 1.
According to the announcement, the new price of diesel has been fixed at Rs 104.06 per liter.
Prices of petrol, kerosene and light diesel will remain unchanged from October 1 to October 15.
According to the announcement, during the next 15 days, petrol will be available at Rs 103.97 per liter, kerosene at Rs 65.29 per liter and light diesel at Rs 62.86 per liter.
Yesterday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recommended to reduce the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 1.50 per liter and diesel by Rs 2 per liter.
